Swashbuckling Cards
Recently on the Enworld message boards, Barsoomcore posted that he used what was called swashbuckling cards in his game. Well needless to say there was a lot of interest in them. I offered to host them so that the masses could get them easily.
What exactly are Swashbuckling cards? Essentially they are plot cards given to the players to allow them to have an impact on the campaign. Some of the cards are very specific (automatically pass a saving roll), others are more generic (natural phenomenon lends timely aid), while still others are story-affecting (NPC falls in love with PC, or NPC turns out to be long-lost acquaintance).
The idea is that at the beginning of each session the GM hands each player a single card. The players can play the card at any time, at which point they will be given a new one.
The cards should be printed on business card paper. I have included all 4 sheets into a single zip file. In addition Don-D combined the 4 pages into one PDF file! Many thanks to him for the work!
